Classes are held every day except Saturday. On Fridays, there is no class after Jumu'ah. On Saturdays, students partake in special outings which include visiting Washington DC. The schedule below is subject to change and registrants will be given a full schedule upon arrival.

QURANIC ARABIC CLASSES
9AM - 12PM

Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Quranic Arabic will be held throughout the winter intensive. Classes will be held at the KAGEM house on the Diyanet Center of America campus.

LUNCH & DHUHR PRAYER
12PM - 2PM

Students will pray with the congregation in the mosque on campus. Afterwards, students are free to eat lunch in the dining hall or to go back to their rooms to eat. On occasion, students will partake in special lunch-time activities.

ASR, Maghrib & ISHA BREAK
3PM - 6:30PM

After Asr prayer, students can use this time to relax after studying. On occasion, special activities may take place during this time. Learn more about special activities.

HOMEWORK LAB
2PM - 3PM

Homework lab provides students a space to digest material covered earlier that day and to ask instructors for further help. Students also use this time to check homework and take online quizzes.

Majlis
6:30PM

After Isha Prayer, students will benefit from lectures by guest scholars. The topics for each Majlis session will dive into an aspect of du'a, the essence of worship.

DINNER & SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
8PM - 10:30PM

Students will eat dinner together in their respective houses. Afterwards, residential advisers will lead students in fun activities centered upon team building, reinforcement of Arabic vocabulary, and other aspects of studying. At times, special events will take place after dinner. Learn more about special activities.
